Hi, I’m Aleth!
Welcome to my blog! I’m so happy you’re here!
I am a stay at home mom to my one and only son. I’m a Chemical Engineering graduate and worked for various multinational consulting firms for so many years in Asia and North America.
It was a fulfilling career until I was laid off in 2014. Then I just had an on and off jobs after that because either it was just a project basis or a short term contract. And, of course, I was not happy about that. But I was extremely happy when I was home when my son arrived from school, helped him do his homework and then spend the rest of the afternoon and evening together. Unlike when I was still working, we had just a few hours at night then it is bedtime already. Always rushing morning and evening!
I told myself then that I can just stay with him instead of hiring someone to look after him or enrolling him in an after-school program. If only financial matter was not an issue. There came the thought of having a money-making blog since I came across some mommy blogs while browsing Pinterest. Thus the creation of this blog.
aboutmomsworld.com is generally about the life of a mom, what she does every day, what mom loves, what mom creates, her passion, hobbies, interests and all other things around her own world.
At the same time, while sharing about mommy stuff, I would like to help those moms who want to start or just started a blog. I know that it is sometimes disappointing when you were stuck and can’t figure it out by yourself. In my own little way, I hope I could be of help.
Hey! Are you a stay at home mom too? Do you want to start a blog but you are having second thought because you don’t know where or how to start? Well, you have to start right now!
Check out this list of blogging tools that will make your journey a lot easier and better.
Aside from blogging, you can read this post to know what are the best ways to make money online.
You can also follow me on Pinterest and check all my boards and pins. I love Pinterest so much probably because I love visuals. I’ve been browsing it for years now since I’ve discovered it when I was looking for some DIY and crafts for kids that I can follow and create with my son. For me, it is a good bonding time and a fun learning experience for my son as well.
I believe that there is enough space for all of us in this online world.

You just have to find your own sweet corner.
